UGA Water Primer – 2019
The UGA Water Primer 2019 reports that UGA consumed nearly 487 million gallons of water in FY19 at a cost of roughly $5.9 million, while achieving a 30% reduction in water use intensity since 2007 through efficiency measures such as drought-tolerant landscaping, laboratory equipment upgrades, and high-efficiency fixtures in new buildings.
