UGA is working to address UN Sustainable Development Goals through focused research, teaching, service, and stewardship on campus, across the state, and around the globe. Some examples of how students, faculty, and staff are addressing Goal #8 are listed below.

Throughout Georgia, UGA promotes economic vitality, civic engagement, and community health, generating a $6.5 billion annual impact on the state’s economy. University programs and research have helped launch more than 175 companies and introduced more than 850 new products to the market.
