Orlando has been employed at the University in the Equipment Operator I role since January 2026. Prior to his current role, he worked at the Aldi Warehouse located in Jefferson. He also served in the United States Navy, including 4 years of active duty and 16 years in the reserves. His service included work as an Aviation Ordnance man, where he assembled bombs and missiles, and a tour on the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) aircraft carrier.  Orlando is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys watching television, organizing, and spending time with his family.
