Sustainability Leadership Program – Educate. Empower. Execute.

In collaboration with the JW Fanning Institute for Leadership Development and the UGA Arts Collaborative, the Sustainability Leadership Program enriches UGA staff members to grow as leaders and advance campus sustainability. This two-semester cohort program provides opportunities to connect with peers, strengthen sustainability knowledge, enhance leadership skills, and create positive change.

Part 1: Sustainability Education
Learn sustainability principles.

  • Module 2: Biodiversity, Landscapes, & Water
  • Module 3: Energy & Climate Solutions
  • Module 4: Purchasing, Waste Reduction, & Events

Part 2: Empower
Strengthen leadership capabilities.

  • Module 6: Leadership & Change Management
  • Module 7: Applying What You’ve Learned

Part 3: Execute
Plan and implement projects.

  • Participants will implement applied sustainability projects in their areas of influence.
