Institute for Nonprofit Organizations

Housed in the School of Social Work, the Institute for Nonprofit Organizations administers a master’s degree, seminars, and workshops for the nonprofit community, supports research opportunities and a graduate certificate program that is open to students in any major. More than 500 graduates of the certificate and master’s programs have gone on to successful careers in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

By providing support to University of Georgia undergraduates with the greatest financial need, the Georgia Commitment Scholarship Program is a powerful tool for removing barriers and opening doors to higher education. More than 600 scholarships have been created since the program was established in 2017.
