The mission of the new Sustainability Certificate External Advisory Board is to support and amplify interdisciplinary sustainability studies at UGA to educate and inspire the next generation of sustainability leaders. The External Advisory Board consists of UGA Alumni representatives from across sectors who commit to advancing the quality and accessibility of interdisciplinary sustainability studies at UGA.

Details

The External Advisory Board provides an outside perspective to maintain the relevancy and quality of the Sustainability Certificate program, provide innovative advice and dynamic perspective to establish connections between graduates and employers, and fosters a community of involvement with sustainability professionals across Georgia and beyond. In addition, the board promotes and supports sustainability at UGA and fosters collaborative partnerships for student capstones, internships, and career opportunities.

Term of Service

Board members are appointed to a term of up to three years. Upon completion of a term, a member may be reappointed.
