We are thrilled to extend an invitation to the second annual UGA Sustainability Showcase on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, where we will celebrate the culmination of the hard work, innovation, and dedication
of Sustainability Certificate students. We are delighted that Michael Chanin, Founder and CEO of Cherry Street Energy, will provide opening remarks for the Showcase. The event
will include short presentations by each capstone team, visual displays, networking,
and light refreshments.
Sustainability Capstones are the culmination of the UGA Sustainability Certificate,
and challenge students to work in interdisciplinary teams alongside a project partner
to address a pressing sustainability challenge. This showcase provides a platform
for students to present their work and share their insights, discoveries, and visions
for a greener future. The event also offers a valuable opportunity to network with sustainability practitioners, industry professionals, faculty members, and sustainability students,
to exchange ideas, forge connections, and explore new collaborations.
