SUSTAINABILITY SHOWCASE
The inaugural Sustainability Showcase and Graduation was held on May 4, 2024, in the Special Collections Libraries and was attended by over 200 students, faculty, alumni, corporate and community partners, and friends and family. Amelia DeLuca, Delta Airlines Chief Sustainability Officer, provided the opening remarks. Sustainability Certificate student teams then presented three-minute pitches, of fourteen capstone projects, followed by a screening of the final team’s documentary. Attendees then moved down to the banquet hall where students had set up displays of their work, and light refreshments were served. The Graduation Ceremony took place after the showcase with alumna Megan Reeves, a Project Manager at Live Thrive Inc., speaking to graduating students, followed by a reception for friends and family, faculty, alumni, and program partners.
